FISHING CHARTERS MIAMI
We specialize in Live Bait Kite
Fishing for Sailfish which are available year round
(Best November to May). Other fish species you may catch
are Dolphin (the fish), King Mackarel, Blackfin Tuna
and the dreaded double BB (Barracuda and Bonito). Summer
months are spent offshore chasing the schools of Dolphin
or Mahi Mahi.
You will mainly be fishing the
edge of the Gulfstream located about 3 miles offshore
Miami. This area noted by it's typical Blue/Green edge
where the offshore water meets the inshore. This area
is productive for fishing because it will hold baitfish
that the pelagic fish (sails, tuna and dolphin) are
chasing. Plus, in the same area, Miami has one of the
largest artificial reefs in the country that aid in
creating structure to hold the baitfish as well!
We will be drifting utilizing
a parachute type sea anchor while deploying the kites
baits or other lines. This set up ensures a more comfortable
and productive way to fish. We fish off the coast of
Miami or may run down off the upper Keys depending on
where the action is best or time permitting.
We always fish with live bait
to ensure the best opportunity to catch fish and it's
included within the charter price. We may spend a little
time on each trip to catch live bait with a sabiki rig
if necessary, but our live bait is usually provided
by our friends at Ashley's Live Bait boat.
Trip times are flexible as generally
the best times to fish are early morning or late afternoon.
Trips are offered in the following blocks at the following
